Heyo!

Hello everyone! (anyone?) I'm still about. Have done some digital painting stuff I could maybe post on here but I just have a lot going on at the moment.

• Impending webcomic
• Half-Life 2 mini-mod
• Creating prop models for another mod
• At some point have to redo my portfolio website (probably save that for August)
• Work on projects and concepts for Resolute Games
• May be gettin a part-time job as well

So, it's kinda hard to fit in digital painting in there.. but I love gettin the practice so expect some stuff in here anyway soon.

Time to update this puppy. Hopefully, I can try to get into the habit of updating this fairly frequently with sketches and whatever I'm working on.

I figured I'd do a wintery bit of practice in honor of this.

Steampunk Challenge

I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring for the CGSociety Steampunk challenge... granted its a beanie in a ring filled with fancy hats but I can only learn from the experience right?

The idea is to re-imagine a classical myth or tale in Steampunk, so I made like a 30 min rough sketch to hold my thread open at CGTalk. Expect more visually appealing images in the future.

Like I said, not particularly pretty but it gets the job done. I'll probably post some facial concepts and wing ideas soon.
